NGC recognized as a National Technological Innovation Flagship Enterprise

Nanjing High Speed Gear Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (NGC) was selected recently as one of the leading National Technological Flagship Enterprises by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (China).

As part of the selection process, enterprises were assessed on their technological innovation output, outstanding innovative performance, and the enterprise’s key role in the sector.

As a renowned enterprise in the field of wind energy gear transmission, NGC has always had innovation as its core driving force, continually increasing R&D investment and deepening its strategic independent cooperation with university research organisations.

Over the years, NGC has achieved breakthroughs in key areas and tackled numerous difficulties or technical obstacles. The company has taken on more than 20 national science and technology support programs and key national R&D projects. It has played a leading role in the formulation and revision of more than 20 national and industrial standards, developed more than 90 new products and has been granted over 500 national patents.

At present, NGC’s wind energy gear transmission products have been given independent intellectual property rights, taking the lead at home as well as being highly ranked internationally. The company sales now represent almost 60% of domestic market share and more than 30% of the global market.
